News from the Eastern Cape
Three months ago, together with Shikaya, we started a mathematics project in the Eastern Cape. Recent reports tell us that the project is going incredibly well and the teachers and children are positive. Koliswa, one of our project workers, has been working intensively with the teachers at schools in Port Elizabeth and East London. What her work involves is one-on-one .in class teacher training and support to the 37 Foundation Phase teachers in four project schools. We have also provided Number Sense workbooks to 1500 children at the schools. Here are some pictures to see what’s been happening
