The second NumberSense User Group Conference will be held on 19 and 20 May 2017 in Cape Town.
This year we are inviting teachers (as individuals or pairs) who use the NumberSense Workbooks to contribute to the User Group Conference by sharing their story. We want to hear these teachers’ stories – the thrills, the spills and most importantly the lessons that they have for other teachers using the workbooks! The contribution will take the form of a chatty 20 minute presentation in a form that conveys the teacher’s story most effectively. These presentations will form part of the conference break-away sessions and will be attended by other teachers who are also on the NumberSense journey.
For the first eight teachers (or pairs of teachers) selected to tell their story, we will waive the conference registration fee. To be considered for selection please prepare a description (less than 750 words) of the story that you would like to tell and submit this before 17 March 2017 to conference@numbersense.co.za.
