The NumberSense Comprehensive Workbooks were introduced through a very interactive workshop which was held in all the major city centres.

During the third and fourth terms, the NumberSense Comprehensive Workbooks were introduced through a very interactive workshop which was held in all the major city centres: Exploring new and exciting activities from the NumberSense Comprehensive Workbooks.
In this workshop we explored:

• A range of the new Geometry, Measurement and Data Handling activities developed for the Comprehensive Workbooks.
• The developmental journey from Grade R to Grade 7 within the Geometry, Measurement and Data Handling activities of the Comprehensive Workbooks.
• Features of the Comprehensive Workbooks and the impact on work and lesson plan development.
• Supporting effective concept development in a NumberSense classroom.
• The workshop is an ideal opportunity for teachers from Grade R to 7 to familiarise themselves with the Geometry, Measurement and Data Handling activities developed for the Comprehensive Workbooks as well as the new features of the Comprehensive Workbooks more generally.

There was an amazing response at all of the sessions, with thoughtful engagement and participation. The user group community is excited to get going with the Comprehensive workbooks next year!
